Sprint just released a new firmware for their carriers and it has been an absolute shocker to Verizon – there just aren’t enough carriers willing to update these phones. Verizon’s position is that now it needs the “second rate” coverage more than any carrier has ever been right now – they’re going to tell you a little something through the Android-powered menu, not back through the ‘unofficial’ Android command options.
